Terms

Last updated September 11, 2026

These terms cover this website and the chatbot service BB343 provides. If we sign a separate written agreement, or you accept a written quote, that document governs wherever it differs from what is written here.

What we provide

We build, train, install and maintain AI chatbots for business websites. A chatbot answers questions from your customers, asks the questions you need answered, and passes each captured lead to you by text message, email and a Google Sheet. Appointment booking and other functions are included where we agree to them.

Exactly what your chatbot asks, answers and sends is agreed with you before work starts, normally on a call.

Quotes and payment

  • We do not publish prices. Each business is quoted individually, and the fee, billing cycle and term are set out in the quote or invoice you accept.
  • Fees are in Canadian dollars unless stated otherwise, and applicable taxes are added.
  • Service fees continue while your chatbot is live. If an invoice remains unpaid, we may pause the service after letting you know.

What we need from you

  • Accurate information about your business, and the right to use everything you send us, including text, images, prices and documents.
  • Responsibility for what your chatbot tells your customers about your products, prices and policies once you have approved it.
  • Keeping your own access secure: the inbox, phone and Google Sheet where your leads arrive.
  • Your own compliance with the law when you contact those leads, including Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation, and your own privacy policy covering the information your chatbot collects. For that information you are the organization responsible, and we act on your instructions.
  • Not using the chatbot to give regulated advice, such as medical, legal or financial advice, and not using it to collect sensitive information such as health records, government identification numbers or payment card details, unless we have agreed to it in writing first.

What an AI chatbot can and cannot do

  • Replies are generated automatically. Even a well-trained chatbot can be wrong, incomplete, or phrased in a way you would not have chosen.
  • It is not professional advice and it is not an emergency service.
  • We do not guarantee any number of leads, bookings or sales.
  • Review your conversations and tell us when an answer needs to change. Correcting answers is part of the service.

Availability

We make reasonable efforts to keep your chatbot running. It depends on services outside our control, including your website host, our hosting provider, messaging and AI providers, and Google. Maintenance, occasional downtime and provider outages happen. Unless we have agreed to a specific uptime in writing, none is promised.

Who owns what

  • You keep ownership of your business content and of your customers' data.
  • We keep ownership of our platform, templates, prompts, configurations and anything we built before or outside your project.
  • You give us permission to use your content to build, train, run and improve your chatbot while we work together.

Confidentiality

Each of us keeps the other's non-public business information confidential and uses it only for this work.

Ending the service

  • Unless your quote says otherwise, the service runs month to month, and either of us can end it with 30 days' written notice by email.
  • We may suspend or end the service if fees go unpaid, or if the chatbot is used in a way that breaks these terms or the law.
  • When the service ends we remove the chatbot from your website and stop delivering leads. Leads already delivered stay yours. Your data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

Liability

  • The service is provided as it is, without warranties beyond those the law requires.
  • Neither of us is liable to the other for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost leads, lost data or business interruption.
  • Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.
  • Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot be excluded by law, including under Ontario's Consumer Protection Act, 2002 where it applies.

Indemnity

You agree to cover our reasonable costs if a claim is brought against us because of your content, the way you used the chatbot, or your handling of your customers' information.

This website

  • The demo chatbot on this site follows a script and represents a fictional business, Ridgeline Home Co. It is an illustration, not a live customer service channel, and the conversation is not sent to anyone.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt this site, copy it in bulk by automated means, or use it to send unlawful content.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes are emailed to active clients. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. The courts of Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, and both of us agree to that.
